2024 Challenges & Tracking

For my own sake, I’m compiling all the 2024 reading challenges I’m participating in on one post. This will be pinned to my navigation bar for easy reference and (hopefully) updated regularly.

Of course, I’m participating in the Goodreads reading challenge again this year. I’m aiming for 250 books, which sounds like a lot. However, since I read a lot of novellas and graphic novels, this isn’t quite the feat it seems!

Any Requirements?

My own personal goal for 2024!

Just that the books are actually novellas and are in one of the following genres: speculative, horror, weird fiction, science fiction, or fantasy.

Goal for 2024 - 50 SFF Novellas

Current Progress – 6 Read

Any Requirements?

Hosted by Angel’s Book Nook & Books of My Heart.

The goal is to find your love of your local library and to read at least twelve (12) books from the library, but you can read more. While twelve is the minimum; there is no maximum limit. See the different levels below and pick the one that works best for you.

Any format will work for this challenge (prints, ebooks, or audios) as long as you checked it out from the library, it counts.

Goal for 2024 - 24 library books

Current Progress – 5 Read

Any Requirements?

Hosted by Berls, Michelle, Lillian and Stephanie.

Chapter 1 will run January –March and will be a return to our strict rules for Winter:

  1. Every book you read MUST be in an electronic format – meaning eBook or Audiobook. It’s okay to start a book before January 1st, you must be less than half way for it to count then review it during COYER.
  2. The books must be FREE or NEARLY FREE! This includes review books, tour books, NetGalley, Edelweiss, etc. What’s nearly free? No more than $5 for eBooks and no more than $7.50 for Audiobooks (or the equivalent in your currency). Library books, borrowed books, or Kindle Unlimited, Amazon Prime books, and Audible Plus Catalog books do not qualify.
  3. Announce your participation
  4. Link up!
  5. Review & Link Reviews!
  6. Follow & share reviews on Social Media. Use #COYER on your posts and look for others posting with the hashtag.
  7. Visit Each Other, Chat & Have Fun

Goal for January through March - 25 books

Current Progress – 15 Read, Reviewed, and Linked!

Goal for 2024 - 12 Free Books (1 each month)

Rule #3 (optional): Review the books you can also get to it through the top menu bar. The linky will go live on January 5, 2024.

  1. […] I also posted my tracking post for my 2024 challenges. I’ve already made a dent in some of my challenges, which is super […]

  2. Ohh, great job on your challenges so early on! I’m also doing the Audiobook and Library Love challenges. Where do you get those tracker things?

    1. I made them in Canva!! Super easy to make! I can do a quick post on it one day soon!

  3. I’m a sucker for a reading challenge too! I’m doing a bunch of them in 2024, although not any of these except for the GR’s one. I ALMOST set my goal at 250 since I read 223 in 2023, but I think I’ll stick with 200 and see how it goes 🙂 Good luck with all of your challenges!

  4. Happy to see you doing Library Love and Thrifty Thursday. Every Thrifty Thursday will count for COYER. Some of the Library Love will but not all the seasons allow library books to count. They are compatible challenges though each giving you parts of a whole reading plan.

    1. So excited for all of them! I’ve already been reading some Library books, but I need to get on the Thrifty Thursday reads!
