Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly blog meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is Books I Hope Santa Brings and our Bookish Wishes. My list is a mix of both books and bookish gifts. The items on my list are all either things on my Chrismas wishlist, gifts I’ve given in the past, or gifts I’ve previously been given.

Mermaids Never Drown: Tales to Dive For
A mermaid anthology? Yes, please. It’s a recent release, which makes it a perfect Holiday wishlist addition. It’s got June Hur, Kerri Maniscalco, Darci Little Badger, and more. I never saw much about this when it released, but it sounds amazing.

The Duo Super Plush
This guy is on my personal wishlist this year. I plan on using it with my Kindle and iPad, but you could also use it with a physical book. They also have ones that are not pink and fuzzy, if that’s more your speed.

Saga: Compendium One
I gave this compendium to my husband years ago. It’s beautiful and a great buy for anyone looking to get into comics and the wildly popular Saga series. He was already a Saga lover and enjoyed rereading all these issues in one compendium.

Mixed Stylus Pen Set
Okay, this one is only really useful for other tablet readers. I put these on my wishlist this year for use with my iPad since I haven’t splurged for an Apple pen yet. At $7, this would be a great stocking stuffer.

Tales of Light and Life
My Star Wars pick for for the holidays is this High Republic anthology featuring nearly all of my favorite Star Wars writers, including Claudia Gray, Charles Soule, Justina Ireland, and Cavan Scott.

Book Beau Book Sleeves
Book Beau is practically synonymous with book sleeves at this point. I gave this exact book sleeve to my husband for his birthday this year and bought myself a Jane Austen themed one for my Kindle. I love them. Highly recommend.

Children of Time 3-Book Set
This is the backlist sci-fi series highest on my TBR, so I’m watching this 3 book set for deals this holiday season. Tchaikovsky is a masterful writer and, although the thought of intelligent spiders freaks me out a bit, I’ve only heard good things about this series.

Clear Kindle Paperwhite Case
If you’re a Kindle user and you don’t already have a clear case for it, you need to pick one up. This one fits the Kindle Paperwhite. Since I already have one on my Kindle, I’ve put a similar iPad version on my Christmas list this year.

The Neil Gaiman Collection
Neil Gaiman individual books are usually expensive – even at my local used bookstore. This Neil Gaiman collection is amazing and includes so many of his revered works. It includes paperbacks of Neverwhere, Stardust, American Gods, Anansi Boys, and The Ocean at the End of the Lane.

The Lord of the Rings Illustrated
My husband gave me this Lord of the Rings special edition book when it released. It includes maps, illustrations by Tolkien, and sprayed edges. It’s such a special piece and was worth the $75.00 he paid. It’s now less than $28, which is an insanely good price.
If you feel so inclined to check out my wishlist, you can find my current Bookish Wishes on Amazon.
What books are you hoping for? I love getting ideas for friends and families, especially for genres outside my own comfort zone.
