Top Ten Tuesday: Ten Feel-Good Books on My 2024 TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly blog meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. These are all things I can wholeheartedly get behind.

These past two weeks I’ve completely gone off topic for my Top Ten Tuesday posts. Last week I focused on Dark and Moody Books on My 2024 TBR. This week I’m featuring the opposite – all the feel-good books I plan to read this year! This list was really fun to pull together. It also came at a perfect time, since I’ve been meaning to read more happy books lately.

Also, it’s hard to find happy, feel-good books, especially when you are looking for books that aren’t romances. I enjoy romances, but I find it interesting that happier books are usually centered on a happily-ever-after romance. I wanted to give some variety to my list, so I’ve included graphic novels, romances, speculative fiction, science fiction, fantasy, and even one mystery.

  1. A Groom of One’s Own by Emma St. Clair
  2. Plain Jane and the Mermaid by Vera Brosgol
  3. Love and Other Conspiracies by Mallory Marlowe
  4. The Ghostkeeper by Johanna Taylor
  5. Haunt Your Heart Out by Amber Roberts
  6. Otherworldly by F.T. Lukens
  7. The Perils of Lady Catherine de Bourgh by Claudia Gray
  8. Promchanted by Morgan Matson
  9. Fiasco by Constance Fay
  10. Mood Swings by Frankie Barnet

I love everything written by Claudia Gray, so The Perils of Lady Catherine de Bourgh is one of my most-anticipated reads of the year. I’ve also enjoyed most of what I’ve read by Emma St. Clair, so I will definitely be picking up A Groom of One’s Own.

What do you think? Are any of these on your TBR?

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to share your TTT in the comments below so I can check it out!
